DOGS ! ! DOGS ! ! everywhere Every place that I went today nothing but dogs, off shore inshore. They were even in 18' of water. What do you have to do to get a stripe bass??? The federal goverment can't prove it by me that dog fish are an indangered species.
You must have been out by the groner. Heard that there were some even up to 6' long. I got some bass over by Cranes, all just shy of 28". Oh well, I'll take quantity over the big one anyday.
I never fish by the groner, don't like big crowds. I either go 1-2miles east or west of it . Was 2.9 miles off the breakwater and also fished up close to shore from Braces Cove to Thatcher Island. Just a bad day.
