Lets put it this way, I called every distributor and bought every reel I could find and you can count the # of both reels on your hands and have a few fingers left .  |

Spoke to an Abu rep this past spring and asked him the same question. What he said, was that although Abu sells lots of saltwater reels, it is nothing compaired to what they sell to the freshwater folks. Freshwater is their bread and butter, so that is where their R&D and new product lines are headed. Better get them while you can.  |
