You may know this, but many don't; Using a spinning reel the worst thing for braid and wind knots is cranking to close the bail. Many of us went down that road only to be told to manually close the bail and that eliminates 99.9% of any knots attributed to wind. The stuff is so limp it gets partial loops on the spool when you crank to close the bail.
