I've never tried Suffix ... seems like the #1 braid at SWE ,,. I've made the full circle back to fireline where I was happiest .. I like Fireline because its a harder slicker material and very strong .. PP seems much softer and spongier.. Spongier on the spool too .. What does Suffix feel like ?

It feels like Powerpro to me Tagger, I can't tell the difference. I also like a $12 bottle of wine better than alot of $50+ wines, so what do I know.

I love Fireline 30lb. I tried 50lb suffix and powerpro to try to fit more line on a 4500 baitrunner. I have 65lb powerpro on a penn 704 and it cast the same as 30lb fireline, but for some reason I think 30lb fireline would break at higher than 65lbs.

i tend to use pp because i haven't had any problems with the 50# and 65#. but the guys i fish with use suffix. it definately feels much rounder and seems less abrasive than the pp.
