My nuggets didn't fail me, at least for one night.
9/29 turned out to be a barnburner for my brother and I with about 25 fish beached between us and many were 20# class and up. Last two fish of the night were on a double header. My brother's fish was 49" and well built, which he put back. My guess is it was a low 40# class fish, which dwarfed the 35# or so fish I released.
Went back 5 more trips this past week but all we could find were small ones each trip.
I should have just quit for the year after that night.
It's almost over....
