Lets not get too excited. This reduction has an estimated 50% chance of reaching the target SSB. Most managers are talking about a real possibility that this cutback may not work. It is very possible that in three years we are back in the same place. Remember that the 2011 year class is the only really good one coming and there are a few year classes that are horrible ahead of that one. Fishing is going to get worse before it gets better, that is indisputable.
