I have a hard time getting them to squish down Mike so I'm a little surprised to hear you say that....u got steel fingers?
I find they're brittle more than anything, but only if you TRY to bend them....doing something you not sposed to do in the first place

In fact, I'm down on Siwash hooks generally. Mustad stainless are brittle, and the tinned Mustads aren't what they used to be. I'm using Mustad O'Shaugnessies with a HD ring for a single lure hook.
