If not for the effort of the Newport Harbor master by boat would be sitting on the bottom today. He saw that she was taking on water and sent his son to the Hinckly Yard to get a high volume pump. By the time I got to Newport she was pumped out. The bats were dead though from pumping out all the rain. Got a new battery and got her started. Then pumped her dry.
