My Loomis spring shipment is coming in this week, there may a few in there to check out. I might even have one in the shop now, I'll have to check though. If don't I'm more then happy to order one which you'd be under no obligation to buy; it's a rod I sell often so if it isn't what you're looking for it's not an issue.

Pretty much all the SJR series have serious lifting power as they are built to yank largemouths out of the bushes. Spin Jig Rod is what SJR stands for.

I have several of them personally from that line up. You'll probably find yourself using it for a lot more then schoolies. Depending on your definition of "schoolie" it may be too much rod. Albies, bones, even skippies and smaller bft should be fine on that stick. You'll be able to handle a 12# bass with ease. I have the SJR844S IMX and I've taken bft up to forty pounds on it in short order. It has the same exact ratings as the SJR941S you are looking at. Almost all the SJR's are very versatile sticks due to the taper. Soft tip which fades to fish lifting power...
