You folks know those tree faces you see around on folks trees? Well, we have 2 in our back yard for 2 years now! One day last week we noticed the eyes and nose on one of the trees was missing??? Thought it odd as nothing else was missing....we have no sidewalks so no walking traffic to speak of and there are woods behind the house so thick you could not walk through to our backyard if you wanted so....we ruled out neighborhood kids! Ruled out humans of any kind because there was nothing else missing but the eyes and the nose from the face......there was other stuff I think someone would have messed with instead of the tree face? Couple days later......the mouth from the same face was gone???? No sign of any of it on the ground or anywhere around???? Squirrels????
