THe beachmaster is the best plug ever made for salt water fishing. i've never used any that I haven't caught bass on. I had one that I caught hundreds of fish on. I lost it to the prop on a boat. As far as quality goes I find they always get better, and stronger.
Early on when they first started making plugs a group of fisherman realized how good they were. So when BM would finish a batch say 300 they would buy them all up. They didn't want anyone to know what great plugs they were. They over the years purchased thousands of plugs.
