BassDawg,

You are telling me that BB or Brady or any member of the other superbowl winning championships would not have wanted this superbowl more than any of the previous ones?

I find that very hard to believe, deep down you know they wanted this and they wanted to be imortalized in football and that is what would have happened. They went from immortal to inconsequental in 60 minutes, and the look on brady's face said it all. I give Brady a lot of credit because he accepted it like a gentlemen. The way BB acted said it as well.

Dynsaties are measured by the championships won and adversly effected by the championships that they lost, especially when they were upset. don't give me the 5 superbowls in 11 years crap, you know its garbage. A superbowl loss is more devestating than a championship game loss. Its a sad fact but it is true.

When you talk about BB, he will be discussed with this loss, his arrogance during this game and being outcoached. When you talk about brady and compare him to montana this superbowl loss will come up. You have to win the ones you are suppose to win in the playoffs. Notice how this message board went from are we the best ever and 19-0, Bill b. and the FU NFL tour, and mercury morris is on crack to this aint such a bad loss, 18-1 is still great, look at all these records we accumulated. The patriots know better than anyone it means squat. All dynasties know it don't mean anything if you don't win the championship.

You think samuel when he goes to bed is not thinking about how he %$%$%$%$ed up and didn't make that play. Same with alot of people on your team, to point them out with just be to time consuming. didn't pursue boss on that catch, how brady didn't make the usual hot reads, why they didn't go to the 2 rb's, why the went for it on 4th and 13. I agree by next season many of these questions will be not be pressing on their minds and may fuel them to another championship, but they will not be forgotten and they will be discussed for a long time.

Parcells said that if anyone believes that this loss does not effect you as a player or coach for the rest of your life, you are either lying or your lying to yourself. I think he would know as best as anyone.

I got an email that said positive things from the Superbowl and #1 was, some village in South America will be getting a shipment of 19-0 t-shirts. I thought that was hysterical. You guys just need to admit that it is a very bad loss and its devistating. This will hurt just like the yankees giving up the 3-0 lead hurts, and it still does.
