Total Idiot

The wife won a trip to Los Cobos Mexico. I knew it was the diving Mecca of the world and the marlin/Tuna Mecca too. I didn't have time to even think about the surf before we had to be on a plane.

As we walked into our 4th floor room, I opened the balcony and looked out on the sea of Cortez and to my surprise, there was a gigantic bait ball being destroyed by what I'm told was black marlin and Yellowfin Tuna. It was about the size of a football field and lasted for about 20 minutes. It was then that I realized what an idiot that I am as my rod hangs in the basement at home. I stood there watching the surf and realized that is was going to cost me a fortune to get into the action.

I jumped on line and quickly learned that it was worse than I thought, everything I own would be perfect here!! check this out .

I am on this beach for 10 days....Anybody ever fished here - any recommendations on surf guides??

Does anybody have a recommendation for surfcasting charters here?
