That happens even when there is no fog....I see/hear at least 5-6 such grounding each season.... back in the late 70's I saw a pair of Mooney boats come thundering up the river right over the top of rocks..... both boats had the lower units litteraly ripped from the engine... I cant tell you how many times I've seen boats anchor on top of the rock pile... only to be sitting high and dry at low tide...

of coarse those guy's are not to be out done by guy's wading the flats in the fog.. more than one of those dudes have needed a "ride" home after gettting confused and underestimating how fast a new moon tide comes back in..

this all provides entertainment when the fishing is slow...I love fog too!

A good run is better than a bad stand!
