line testing machine at SWE (this Thursday, 2.9)

Ever wonder if an Improved Clinch or Palomar is really a stronger knot when attaching braid to a swivel? Alberto or Albright? Clinch or Palomar when tying up a mono leader? Do any of those even get close to fancier bimini, offshore swivel, and PR knots? Are your knots consistent or does the break strength vary from knot to knot? With this machine you can easily find out.

Not sure if we'll be having one on one battles this year, although we're certainly not stopping anyone if you're feeling competitive. Plus I'm always amused when swivels approach the sound barrier before crashing into people's knuckles....

6PM until 8:30PM or so this Thursday, 2.9.2012. Pizza will be ordered at some point and 15% off all terminal tackle (swivels, leader, etc) will be in effect.
