Keeping with this tradition the following demos are scheduled for this year’s event.

Mike Mullen will be demonstrating basic wood-turning techniques. He will have a lathe set up and will show the basics of spinning a chunk of wood into a beautiful fish-fooling weapon.

Paul Stamos will be tackling the use of eel skin plugs in the surf. He will cover skinning the eel, choosing an appropriate lure, applying and securing a skin and fishing a skin plug. This is a killer technique that has stood the test of time!

Billy Delizio will be demonstrating the fine art of adding a marble “butt wrap” to a custom rod. He will be showing the entire process from start to finish to add a unique bit of flash and flare to make that new rod a truly custom work of art!

Joe D’Agostino of JoeBaggs Bucktails will be demonstrating the craft of pouring and tying a bucktail jig. He will show each stage of the process from start to finish and will discuss the tips, tricks and safety concerns associated with pouring your own jigs.

“Big” Tim Johnson will be discussing the fine art of smoking fish. Tim will have several different types of fish on hand and will address preparation, brining, seasoning, smoking and eventual enjoyment of a freshly smoked fillet.

Official demo times will be posted as we get closer to the event.
One more demo has been added:

"Grampa" Greg McNamara will be demonstrating the process of loading plugs like the Red Fin, North Bar bottle darter and Bomber Long A with water or baby oil.
