No need to apologize and don't feel bad at all. People here are glad to help you out. There is "absolutely" nothing secret being shared here, so don't even worry and go have some fun. If you are fishing casual, in addition to Point Judith, you can try Camp Cronin/East Wall which is nearby. If you have bottom gear, you may have a ball catching scup and other bottom species. Of course, bring a popper and a metal casting lure just in case the bluefish show up.
