I remember being told during a very specific exit interview that there was really no upside to my being on social media.....

But since the wife set up an account in her mother's maiden name, I can still cruise around....

I’m on FB all the time but I don’t post often, never mention work or any personal stuff. Usually just to make a joke here or there or post a cool photo to share.

I totally disagree. Social media is an incredible tool for marketing. You could quadrupole your business in a year or 2 if you used it correctly.
