hear ya Sandman. I picked up where they say that they only have a useful life of 20-30 years and then have to be taken down. IMO that is the justification for not building them in the first place.
I say they build them right along the south coast of Nantucket. The world weary will freak out but in a few years we will have a nice set of reefs all along the coast. The only boat traffic out there is charter guys running to the shoals from Madaket, etc.
Do you think the gazzillionaires would be upset ? Maybe if they installed them in the winter when no one was around
