I feel your pain, I grew up in one of the most touristy places in the NE; Newport, RI and still live in Narragansett, which is Native American for "Town with the ridiculous beach traffic on a sunny summer day"... traffic, higher prices on everything, all out of state plates and boats....but we did it right, 40 years ago, figured out how to make money off em...
and still at it today!!!
