Putting together a six-pack offshore charter with Captain Mike B of Ave Maria Charters. Booking a little earlier than I do because the weather gets dicier as the season progresses (this is an offshore trip).
Leaves the dock in Quincy around 6 a.m., Sat. 10/16. Be back after dark.
4 spots, maybe 3 left. So far it's me, Notaro, and a maybe.
Fare is $138 per person, + mate's tip (chubsdad r u there? ).
If he's not, I will
Ronnie

Joe,
Make sure you get LOTS of rest before the trip.
Capt Mike told me about the work out they gave you on the last one
I think you can expect the same!!!!

Youngmoon, all tackle provided.
Just bring yourself, some food and beverage (and take seasickness remedy well BEFORE you get on boat!) and appropriate clothing (slickers and boots). Oh yeah, bring a big cooler or at least some heavy duty garbage bags.

Thanx FWW, is there enough room to bring the cooler on board? Or is it like a party boat and leave it in your car?

Notaro, I do, but it's prescription-only and you have to put it on 2 hours before you leave the dock. Get an Rx from ya doc...it's not that expensive.

This stuff WORKS! Haven't been disappointed yet with this patch.

YM you can leave it in the car, there's plenty of storage on the boat. Bring a rope or twine or something to mark your fish if that's what you want to do...usually we just split the catch up.
One more thing - the mate can only filet so much fish, so plan on bringing whole fish home (assuming we hook up).

Bring your warm gears, too. And some gloves for gripping fishes and keping your hands warm.
