Thanks! I've been learning this year on both the 704 and 705. I get almost zero knots with the 706 and the bail catches the line better but when slack, the line comes off the roller which could be a pain. The 704 is ok but it gets stuck on hte bail arm often and I get more "wind" knots for some reason.
Maybe over the winter I will try a VS 250!

Whats nice about the Daiwa SS2600 is I could get a decent amount of braid on it. In the past I used 17lb mono and it really didnt hold much at all. I just hope the drag would hold out!

A great reel, but not made in larger sizes unfortunately is the Abu Suveran, Made in Sweden. Strong, kind of heavy but toooo small!
