Rod: Breakaway LDFS 100H Braid: 65# test Whiplash ( 150 yards - top shot) Reels: VS 250 and Daiwa Saltiga Z5000 The Daiwa gets AT LEAST 50% more distance than the VS does. Gotta be the size/shape of the spool and the line wrap.
