I think I'll try around thirty feet above and beyond I had them a little short last time was a pain with the tide running they'd sneak under nad I would have to time it right. I bought big bouys too 7x14 should help too.I've got no problem with commercial guys there right there but I put my stuff right in back of theirs so its out of the way theres no other recreational guys near me waters to deep, I like the work out and lack of a crowd not to mention lots of lobsters not found inshore.
