th "bigger bait = bigger fish" theory dos hold some truth. The exception would be when the fish get "frenzied" on one particular type of bait.
That would be the main reason for having variety in your tackle box.
I've had schoolies that could barely fit the 6 inch storms into their mouth have the entire thing in their mouth. I had the hardest time just getting the thing out, let alone unhooking it.
They do work, but then there's the bloofish to contend with as well.
What I hate is that right after you put a fresh storm or sluggo on, you get a blue that gives you back a cigar butt for a lure. (They never seem to hit the older lures, just the new ones.)
