another item is a high powered flashlite or lantern and extrea batteries, changing a tire with good lite is much easier than in the dark.

yep, low on your vehicle is for when your in trouble.
Mr. Sams is right on what he runs/ran I used to run low range/second gear when I had a real truck too .. but, small rig like yours high range, AOD off, 10 pounds of air, you will go anywhere.
