incredible TFF

How do you get the 'seam' so tight, does that just come with practice?

When you are spraying the second half, how do you keep overspray from getting on the first half you just sprayed?

i don't try to line up the seam at all.
just start with the same color when you flip it over.
if you look real close you can see where they meet. probly because the toole' i use is very small. and every angle you hold it your looking at a different color.
that, plus the glitter in the clear makes for too much to focus on at one time so it fools the eye a little.

the angle you hold the spray gun will not let the paint on top get on the bottom. i tried to get the spray gun in the pics just for that reason, the spray angle.

every one i've given/swapped, it gets the same response?
"how do you get the scale to go all the way arroud"??

TFF unbelievable work. I know you believe in bonding quickly between

paint coats, but how long do you wait before clear coating?

maybe 15 minutes. just enough time for the base coat to flash off{touchable}.
that plug was black, to clear in about 1/2 hour.

if your gonna spin it with thick clear like e-tex i'd wait a little longer maybe an hour. so the colors don't sag. or maybe a light coat of rattle can clear to lock everything in place beforehand?
sem makes some nice rattle can clear thats uv proof and hardens up nice.
