I watched a video of an EEL SLINGER this past winter...fishing the North River....

..that place should be heating up soon right?....

....Looks like a great place to catch some MOO MOOs in late May, early June........

..any of you guys ever fish it, and produce LARGE?....

...it finally happened, there are no more secret spots

Oh yah have fished it! It can hold a ton of bass but weekends can be a zoo. Best bet is live herring or macs but eels will work too. Schoolies are good on Rubba. Got a 35 lber on a live mac at the mouth a few years back. Just outside the river is good just ask GS...

Excelent fishing last night in the South river. We hit 30+ fish out of a couple of nice schools of 26-36 inchers. Caught one nice 36 near the two green cans that mark the divide of the North and South rivers on a live eel. The other 30 or so fish were caught on chunked herring. The fish we have been catching down in this area are the strongest, most lively stripers I have ever seen.

It looks to be a very good year

Going for the big boys this weekend, wish me luck
