Saltheart: The 1209 Breakaway/ Mitchell Neptune ( spinning) was the gear Blong used to haul his 45+#er out of the Ditch last year. Tough to do , yes - but doable.

BTW, Slip: Harrible weighed that fish @ 29#. If Harry says it nicked 30# then he's right. If you weighed that fish at home after you left and it came in at 28# it's because I bled it before ya took it home . Fish blood has weight - and a 30#er has a lot of blood.

Also BTW, Slipknot's fish bent the hook up on the jig to about a 45
degree angle. That's a lot of pressure! Can't believe
leader didn't snap.
