Yeah, you can throw up to 3 no problem....2 ounces is ideal...poppers, swimmers, dannies, spooks! 1 to 2 ounces for me.

Its done! Picking it up today so I will let you know what size seat I have on mine!

I have a size 17 reel seat on mine....its great!

17 is pretty small for a 10 foot conventional. I've used 18, 20, 22 trigger seats on similar rods. The 20 is the most comfortable. Sometimes I cut 1/2 " off the threaded section of the seat to bring the foregrip closer to the front of the reel.

Get a tape on reel seat - They work just fine, and when you are 100% as to where you want the reel they can be wrapped right on the rod. I like the setup as I can change the reel position untill I am certain that it is home.
