Alright how did it go this weekend. I couldn't go this weekend but who won?

Don't fret Fred (not bad eh?). The fishing for bass up this way, I will say as a Tackle Shop owner, has been "spotty" (does that mean stink to a non-tackle shop owner?).

Again, no fish weighed in by those electing to participate. Rumor had it one participant had one fish and measured it against the "mark" on his fishing partners rod, only to find it short by an inch. The next day he re-measured the mark and found it was 30 inches, not 28 - no buddy no more.

Oh well, the fish won, we'll try it again next year, maybe a little later.

Looking forward to next year's GCDerby. This whole year has been tough out here, especially the last couple of weeks. What timing... I got out, but was blanked again. Thanks for honoring George with this Derby, I hope it becomes a long standing tradition.

I second what BBJ said, George is a legend to me glad we can honor him, as long as the tournement takes place I will be in it.
