I would ask that EVERYONE go out and get typed to be a bone marrow donor. I know they have an active program at the Rhode Island Blood Center. There is information at www.marrow.org
If you do get asked to donate, you will end up spending the night in a hospital and the next day you will have a little back pain like you raked leaves..A small price to pay for a chance at saving someone's life. |
