Well Jetta im not sure that I have the reason but I use balloons because : 1. They are easier to see in the ocean size of them makes them easier to see 2.You can adjust the size of them for the size of chunk bait /live bait that you are useing so it wont go under because of the weight of it 3. They take up less space in your tackle box 4. And last but not least cost you get a whole lot of balloons for the price of one bobba.......lol
