carbon consumption

this movie is scarey. seems to confirm ideas of the american "consumer" attitude and how much alot of us don't appreciate the earth we live on. i just saw the movie last week.

however i did hear that al gore embellished some facts and his time tables. i'd really like to read some more republican rebutles on the movie.

regardless is sad to see how much alot of the glaciers and state parks changed over the past 2 or3 generations.

i think we just broke a record for the warmest day in december ever this week.

The LAST thing I would want is to see Republican rebuttles, or Democrat esposusings for that matter. What I would like to see is the result of real scientific discourse on this. The Yeas and Nays get in the ring, duke it out, and come out with the best course on the safe side of all of this....

Hey, I might be waterfront in a few hundred years. Alsways wanted waterfront. But I don't want the earth to be crippled in the process.

One of these days I'll get off my arse and watch it...

John, the Earth has survived bigger disasters than us, it won't get crippled, we will. I think that instead of trying to save the Planet, we should try to save ourselves......from ourselves.

He that would make his own liberty secure, must guard even his enemy from oppression; for if he violates this duty, he establishes a precedent that will reach to himself.
