For this one it's gotta be Steve Perry (HANDS DOWN!) , lead singer of Journey (one of my favorites). Man, I think he's got that perfect singing voice for any rock song. He can sing any crappy song and it will sound golden to me! Close second is Freddie Mercury of Queen... another unbelievable voice. I don't think there is anyone that can take some notes as high has he does....phew!
For other voices... Anyone ever heard Josh Groban? I don't listen to him, but my mom and sister do, and he has a pretty impressive voice.
Then for a voice of today - if you wanna call it that.
Brandon Boyd- Lead singer of Incubus, i've become a fan of them lately with the release of " Dig " and their other songs like " Drive " and " Which You Were Here " (btw not a PF cover)
- Drive
- Dig
Wasajigifying -[ was - a - jig-i-fy-ing] - the concept of not knowing what the hell your saying.

Katie....funny you should mention it....Not what I would normally listen to but a friend of mine had tickets (and no one to go with)to see him a Mohegan a couple weeks ago and so I went. Again not my type of music but he does have a strong voice for sure!
Freddie M. definately had a voice!
I dont know what it is but Bob Seger's got that "sexy smoldering" tone that I just cant resist...ooh if I ever met him and he spoke to me I would probably faint...
Heck I know there is more but I just lost my train of thought!
