Deep Purple's lead singer, can't remember his name at this moment, had a hell of a voice too.

Ian Gillian...he was also Jesus Christ in Jesus Christ Superstar.

For singers that really put feeling into there vocals I like Joe Cocker, Ray Charles and Janis Joplin. they sing it like it MEANS something to them

For Front men I like Roger Daltry, Steven Tyler, Robert Plant, Eddie Vetter and Micheal Stipe......Not technically the best but I think there voices are what make there music what it is.

The absolute Best voice around.......Aretha...my god when that woman sings it is truly Amazing.

Got to also give some Kudos to Whitney Houston (Pre-Bobby Brown) she had a spectacular voice.....listen to her rendition of the Star Spangled Banner if you doubt that.

Early Deep Purple (Hush era) Rod Evans
He also was the lead singer later on for Captain Beyond

No one mentioned Edgar Winter (Tobacco Road)
