see my other post... I don't think it's fair to judge an entire group on the behavior of the subset. I DO think it's fair to judge the subset though...

Woody, et all,
Along with your camera bring a bag and pick up some of the litter. I've done this locally and it makes an impression. We have to educate the people who leave the litter. Show and tell. Nobody should be "stepping over the squid boxes". If you leave the litter you can kiss your spot good bye in the future. WE are part of the solution.

I hate picking it up but the consequences are much worse.

Let's try this

I am making up a sign that says:
"access to fishing spots is dependent on the condition in which we leave the areas we all fish, please pick up your trash."
I am having it done in at least four or five languages. When you see it posted here take it to your local bait shop and have them post it in a good spot.
So far I have it in:
English
Khmer (cambodian)
I need the language in portugese, chinese and whatever language anyone else thinks that will cover a majority of our fishing population.
We can't do them all so I don't want to hear any bitchin and moaning. This is an honest attempt to do the right thing on this issue. Just give me another 2 or three languages. Thanks
