So 75% of my fishing these days involve some variation on the following conversation... "since your tired and going to bed early, you don't mind if I head out for a couple of hours?"
If my wife didn't fish, I don't know who would stay home with my son... 
So if you are planning on having kids someday, it may not be all that bad if she doesn't fish  and wait untill your kids are old enough to stay home by themselves to get her into it

I am slightly concerned about that...she gets pissed at me anytime i fish with out her. She had to work a few weekends in August, while I was slamming bass up to 25 lbs, and she was in such a terrible mood, finally she told me it was cause i was out fishing why she was at home working.  
double edged sword I guess...but ill take it.

Yeah I really think you got the better of the two options. My grandparents had alot of great years fishing together. I think it is only an issue when the kids are young and you can't leave em for a couple of hours.
