If you really want to put a lot of this nonsense in perspective take the kids fishing!
Some that appear too tightly wound might remember what this sport really is about.

Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day ...
show him where to fish and ... you'll be sorry

These posts have a "When I was your age I had to walk to school barefoot uphill both ways through the snow and fight off bears with my notebook" tone to them. I'm no expert by any means and don't claim to be but I do know that fishing really isn't that complicated, it's not rocket science! More time on the water=more fish and knowledge of the sport. Spring can't come quick enough!!!

IMO .. has it right ;;
to me catching fish is great / but not the only reason I go {[Except for the silly /joke RI commercial season]]
after way to many years putting the priorty on catching /but finally realizing in the latter years .. FOR me that is by far secondary ;;
I,m soooo thankful that I have fishing as my GO TO for the senerity i need to get thru the times ;;
I know for a fact that if it wasn,t avaiable to me in the last years / I wouldn,t be here & for that i will be forever thankful ;;
to each there own & let it be ::

I agree with Clammer, I never lie and I have never caught a 40 (39#) let alone anything bigger!
The one thing I am confused about is, after all my years on SB I just read a post from Clammer that I could read! //*%&/{ha ha (&54/

thats funny . I was talking to a friend who was doing a story on Stan Gibbs and Stan Kusia.. Probably 2 of the best plug/jigg makers that were ever on the planet.. They developed alot of plugs together and fished and socialized together.. The frustrating part for my bud working on the story, there's no pics .. No pics of them holding fish ,,making plugs.. Nothing .. Just stories and memories. Stan Kusia is a living legend in our parts and one of the nicest people I've ever met . Always has a plug in his pocket to show you ,, all excited about his new project . Talks to you ,, not down at you . I respect that and hope I never look down my nose at a fellow fisher.. Hey Mike !! Serenity Now !!
