What Raven said.

Mr.Hunters,Gmail also works in conjunction with Mozilla Thunderbird which is far superior to lame Outlook Express.By using Tbird it will eliminate the issue you're having.

right, gmail works with all clients.
what raven wants to do is use gmail to in effect "host" the other email address. so when you send your mail as joe@comcast.net you can send it using your gmail interface.

This on the recieving side shows up as From: "joe@GMAIL.com sent on behalf of joe@COMCAST.net"

ive only seen it show up this way in OE but could show up in others.

Arrow the reason why

the reason why i suggested that is because

recently my ISP internet service provider

switched over to using Google Mail

and they changed the ports for the email servers

and it royally screwed up outlook express

which Still isn't working right

so i said frig it and opened up two more
email accounts both with GMAIL

and they work pissa

in fact i just downloaded and installed gmail notifier

and when someone @ S-B replies to a post
a small pop up window ...pops up saying

for example

mr hunters just replied to outgoing email @ s-b

and i can be working on the PC and keep track

i read 80% of my S-B reading in my email anyways as is...

and only "pop in" to post....or instant message with instant delivery notification enabled....in your user area....
which is quite faster than the S-b refresh rate...
