The question is......Is this a "boat fish" or is it a "shore fish" or is it time we simply recognize that this as a new class of fishing?

They got the name wrong
it should be swishing
I don't see any skiis I thought they swam and fished, thus swishing.
Myself,I'll stay on shore thanks, I got a skiff if I want to get in the water.

The last 40" inch fish I caught sure as heck didnt weigh 40lbs. Maybe he meant 40" when he first came out of the water.
and people think that Kayak fishing at night is crazy.

Hey Slipknot,
i think they refer to it as "skishing" because
when ya hook into a monster, she pulls ya like a boat would
and the fins become the skis.....................
Waaaaaay to CRAZY for me, especially in Great White Country!!!
i am thinking of wetsuiting it around NPT in a year or two, when and if i can budget the gear.

I should of been more specific, what I meant was what about fishing tournaments what kind of class do they fall into, boat or shore fish,or soon to be skishing?I don't belive I've seen this check box in the class selection yet when signing up for a tourny.
Skishing has been around for only a short while it's growing rapidly many fishermen seek this for a number of reasons, but it's still in it's infancy stages,I personally don't think it been entirely recognized as a whole new fishing strategy.
