The bigger the better for most of the fishing I do. There are a few instances where I do like eels on the smaller side. If I am fishing an estuary or small creek on the southside of the cape, the bass to tend to prefer the smaller eels on the dump. I have experimented and I will catch big and school sized bass on smaller eels and the larger eels will go barely molested.

Bronko, what's up buddy? had wrist surgery a few weeks back, but almost set to go full speed. tried it off shore saturday, NWC - 2 for 4, 56" & 58" Bluefin. going to drift the plug in a couple weeks at the old reliable. see if you and matt are up? how'd you do with eels?

No go on eels.

Bass to 15 lbs on plugs after the lights came on.


We have to get at it soon, we should grab beers at the BP lounge again with Matt and form a plan to hit a few spots.
