This has been one of the best fall runs for size in Boston Harbor, at least in my lifetime. Out, are the mega blitzes with a gazzillion schoolies, occasional larger, hammering peanuts and other small forage all day long. In, are many adult bunker-poagies getting hammered by the common 20-30lb class fish, at times, all day long. Imagine that, common 20- 30lb class fish. Boaters, Kayakers have feasted, and even surf casters are getting in on the action. Along with great fishing comes everyone from every walk of life, paintball guns have been an option for protection.

Snag and drop, thanks Mullet Miller, has been the most productive for me for that class of fish. Chunks and Blue'd Chunks, have brought up the larger lazy azz hogs up too 47lbs. Guess they don't feel like chasing a fleeing, turbo poagie. Since the 1st week of September it's been great. Yesterday and today has been slow, that's not a bad run for this angler looking like a weirdo fishing out of a kayak.
