I like stories.
I unfortunately only saw them at the Melody Tent about a decade ago but followed them from afar. They are a lot more advanced that your average band for sure.
I enjoyed finding him on a few Zappa albums too.
I think my 2 favorite tunes are Spanish Moon and Juliette, awesome tune.

Spanish Moon, Professa! One of their best -

Robert Palmer did a cover of it when he first started getting recognition here which was actually pretty good - middle '70's or so...

Marc Broussard also did a recent cover - they play it on WMVY a lot -

great band

I saw them at Great woods with my wife in 90 I think
