Tarkenton had 19,000 more yards and 148 more TD's

I just looked at Stablers stats and the thing that sticks out that might be keeping them from voting him in is that he tended to throw a lot of picks

of his 15 Seasons he only had 5 where he had more TD's than Interceptions....that might be what they look at....and there is always politics involved too.....Did he piss somebody off on the committee? That I don't know

I think he belongs in there too....just offering up a reason why maybe he ain't getting in....I know the HOF ain't just stats, its Heart too, which he had....but there has got to be some reason
