i'm no expert... Steve but i think what your referring to and correct me if i'm wrong.... but the fish not having eyelids change which light receptors in their eyes they use involuntarily at night, then they are using a
black and white color scheme to identify their prey... whereas the pink color resembles
bait more closely than any other color.... at that light level...
