WTF.
if someone pays me to wear a shirt with brands on it while I fish, sign me up...
#^^^^^^^^^^^& on the chest, habs on the sleeve, aquaskinz on the collar... Gibbs on the back, rebel on the shoulder, redfin on the other shoulder...
and I'd be throwing an eel...

Professional Saltwater fishing is basically a joke. The FW scene is huge in comparison and they sell a lot more FW "stuff" than saltwater "stuff".
Some of those FW sponsors have a very nice pay package...yeah the boat/truck and clothing is plastered with ad's but if I would fish in a thong if they wanted me to and paid me that kind of coin to go fishing.

yeah it's pretty crazy, and not to hijack the thread, but most fishing shows are just one big advertisement anyway. anybody catch the lastest OTW this weekend? I enjoyed the show, but they are getting more like the big boys with those gratuitious shots of the evinrude and the toyota truck and the triumph boat!
hey, I remember the names, so it's working!!
I think in the days of the DVR and fast forwarding through ads, the companies have to get them in somewhere.

Yeah, exactly what I was thinking. Who watches commercials anymore?
