You're close, I had an old drill bit in my vise to form the loop around and was pulling with the channel locks....the loop did come out perfect, though.

all too familiar with this. I've popped myself in the mouth twice due to the little fixture I use.

Hey Mike those little vice grip plyers are great .. you can lock on .. You should change your angle of attack though and not pull towards your face .. Wife must bust em on you for that ,, mine would ..

Just got a good tail loop tutorial done by #^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&...man did I have it all wrong, but the end result was still good.

Take a closer look at the pictures...you may notice there's one plug in there not made by me...see if you can pick it out.
