awesome job, that is a beautiful rod. it will look even better after it has been dropped near the rip-rap of the ditch :-)

i can't even imagine how difficult it would be to weave a name in man that looks tough...

i think I'll go with:

30,25,20,16,16,12,12, #10 SiC tip

I'm curious, why the hardaloy if you'll be near rocks. Is this hardaloy tougher???? I've never heard that?

now colors...i'm thinking, grey underwraps...red over-wraps...????

or maybe red over gold under-wraps???
