Got to laugh.

They caught him with the lobster but they say the lobster he is acussed of stealing, not the lobster he stole.

AFAIK, that's because you're presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Newspapers are supposed to write articles that way or they'd be sued for libel successfully if they guy got off on a technicality. Usually, they use the term "alleged".

Still funny as hell though...what a dumb thing to do...
